Saturday

I was up early on Saturday as I had planned a full day on my dad’s allotment.I was on the train by 8am as I wanted to take a short walk in between Dormans land and East grinstead to check to see how far on the wild garlic is.It was a pleasant walk through the woods with the birds in full voice. It seems spring is just around the corner.
Unfortunately the wild garlic is still a couple of weeks away,it’s just starting to shoot up through the lead litter.I hope to be making a batch of wild garlic pesto this spring which will be available to buy at £3 for a 100g jar,it will be available yo buy in oxted and surrounds and in London.
I arrived at my parents and after a coffee I headed up to the allotment .
I had s pleasant few hours digging bug had to call it a day by lunch time as Adriana came over with Sophia and due to my fingers being extremely cold
